When an agency client experiences a dispute, the result can be catastrophic to the person resulting in increased agency resource allocation. Additionally, the impact to the persons family and the community can have deviating effects far beyond the initial dispute.   Thankfully, when a dispute is referred early, these impacts can be lessened and agency resources can be better allocated to serve more clients.

01 Civil

Ending civil disputes early, before escalation to the courts allows the client more options in settlement. Many clients  faced with the fear of a civil suite will return to old patterns often resulting in the need for additional services.

Parenting time or disputes involving children are a substantial drain on agency budgets and personnel. By referring the client to mediation, the agency is able to avoid the abuse of CPS reporting as retaliation. The result is an agreement that becomes binding on the parents and substantially reduces issues for future litigation.

This is even more devastating when the client has children that now due to the homelessness require foster placement. By referring the client to mediation the client, landlord and payment sources are able to find a solution before it too late.
